This article is a guide to creating your first Workout in Simma, it will take you through the basics to create a simple workout with a warm up, main set and cool down.

Log in at www.getsimma.com and navigate to the Workouts menu as part of your coaching tools

At the top right of the Workouts menu click + Create New Workout

Workout Creation

The Workout creator divides the task into two views, the first to create the general information about the Workout and the second to write and arrange the Sets for the Workout.

Add the information about the Workout that helps swimmers find and select this Workout to swim. In this screen you will add all of the details of your workout.

Switch to the Sets view and set the FTP for the Workout and create Sets for it or add them from your Set Library.

Adding a Set from your library will open your Set Library for you to select a Set you like to use often in your Workouts.

Use the 'edit' icon in the top right of the Set summary to unlock the Set if you want to edit it some for this instance of it in this Workout. Edits to the Set do not change the original Set in your Set Library, the edits are only in this instance of the Set, in this Workout.

Or you can create the Sets you want inline in the Workout creator, the second set for this Workout is being made this way below.

Once you have Sets in the Workout. You can Save it at anytime, if you need to stop and come back to it.

The toggle to 'Publish' controls if the Workout can be seen in the applications or not.

Published Workouts can be seen, unpublished workouts are not seen by Swimmers.

And that's it, you can make your first Workout.
