How might I use a tag?

To enable you to bring your own coaching voice, personalisation and commonly used phrases you use as a coach, you can add to your swim workout a set of "Tags" that you like to use to organise your swim coaching.

Each coach can create their own unique set of Tags

Swimmers can filter workouts in Simma by your Tags so they can find all the swim workouts related to each tag. It's simply another way of letting you personalise and advertise your coaching brand on Simma to represent your coaching preferences.

How do I create a tag?

You create tags, as part of the process when you create a swim workout [link to creating swim workout].

On the information tab for the swim workout you'll see a prompt to type in any Tag you might like to use or create. Any existing Tags will show up for you when you start typing so you can reuse the same tags across all your workouts.

Below, is an example of a coach that has created a "25m/y" tag to indicate that this swim workout is suitable for pools of those lengths.

Tags are specific to you as a Coach, the default Tag is empty so you will need to create your first Tag to create your Tag Set.

Please note that Tags can be deleted from your Tag Set but will persist on any workouts they have been added to after deletion.

REMINDER: It's best to double check the spelling of your Tags as you create them and be consistent with use of capital lettering and spacing to create a consistent Tag Set for your brand.
